Programming/Coding
Students learn to use various coding applications that allow them to test their coding knowledge and help them complete various programming/coding challenges.
Soccer
For our middle school and high school boys, we offer our soccer program that focuses on technical improvement, tactical decision making, and leadership development. The club was created to guarantee that each player is learning to enhance decision-making, creativity, and confidence on the ball.
Drama
Our middle school drama club exposes students to the basics of theatre. Students stretch their dramatic muscles by learning acting basics as they rehearse.
Arts & Crafts
This club is a fun way for students to learn about making household objects into works of art. The activities are easy, thought-provoking, and educational. Crafts explore themes such as culture, science, and math. Through these crafts, students learn background information about each of the themes. Upon completion of an activity, students are encouraged to share their artwork with their peers, friends, and family.
S.T.E.A.M
After school S.T.E.A.M. club grows students' mindsets by immersing them in fun, STEAM project-based learning opportunities and growth mindset principles every single day. It is where students will use state-of-the-art resources to strengthen their creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
MUN (Model United Nations)
Students gain insight into the working of the United Nations and the dynamics of international relations by assuming the role of UN representatives, understand relations between countries and particularly power relations between rich and poor countries, carry out in-depth research related to climate change and issues of global poverty and the MDGs (Millennium Development Goals), debate the issues that confront world leaders and draft resolutions in response to these global issues.
Jiu-Jitsu
This activity provides exciting martial arts instruction in a safe, supportive environment. Jiu-Jitsu teaches a number of different skills, as well as ones that will have a positive impact on their lives such as teamwork, sportsmanship, and safety. Martial arts are an activity that many kids enjoy, and the benefits of participating in this kind of sport are numerous.
Fitness/Yoga/Zumba
Students participating in this physical exercise class will be provided with a great way to relax after a long school day. Also, children will do challenging yoga style games. A fun way to cultivate self-esteem and body awareness!
Quran Recitation
Prophet Muhammad (saw) said: “The best amongst you are those who learn the Quraan and teach it to others.” With this in mind, we provide our students with the opportunity to enrich their heritage and culture during this after school activity and practice their Quran recitation.
